It is a privilege and an honour to represent Holborn and St. Pancras. I would like to thank all of those who voted for me. I would also like to reassure all those who voted for any of the other candidates that I intend faithfully to represent everyone. (continues...)
The challenges ahead should not be underestimated. The question of housing comes up time and time again, and cannot be left unaddressed. I intend to work nationally, across London, and locally, to bring about change.
I will also do all in my power to fight inequality. We cannot allow people to be driven out of our constituency or forced to live in poverty and hunger. We must redouble our efforts to make the London Living Wage a reality as a first step.
Then there is the threat of HS2. I intend to work with local residents, businesses and traders to force a rethink on HS2. The overarching case for HS2 has not been made. And even if it were, a 21st century high speed railway should not be brought into Euston.
I look forward to working with and for you. If you need to speak to me, or require details about advice surgeries, please do contact me at any time using the details shown overleaf.
