Public meeting about the EU Referendum and Brexit

I held a public meeting earlier this summer about the EU in order to hear the views of local residents following the referendum result. The meeting was full of lively, passionate debate and it is clear that many local people are deeply concerned about what Brexit may mean for Camden, London and the rest of the UK. The many e-mails and letters I have received since have reinforced this and underline that our relationship with the EU will be a defining issue for many years to come.

I promised to hold another public meeting on the EU later in the year, particularly for those who were unable to make it or to get in (unfortunately, the meeting in July was so packed we reluctantly had to turn people away).

In light of the huge interest in this issue, we have now moved the meeting to a larger venue so we can accommodate more people.

The meeting will now take place at St Pancras Church, Euston Rd, London NW1 2BA and will start at 19:30.

I will be joined on the panel by Sarah Hayward, Leader of Camden Council and fellow Camden MP Tulip Siddiq.

If you attended the first meeting in July, please consider allowing others to attend this event.
